Irfan Ahmed has recently given an interview to Radio 5 on the EU Veto by Mr Cameron. In the interview which was alongside a panel of other speakers, Liberal Democrat activist and campaigner, Mr Irfan Ahmed said he believed it was time Nick Clegg told Cameron that enough was enough.
Alongside this Irfan Ahmed called for the Lib Dem leadership to go back to the drawing board and to consider their position in the coalition with the Tories.
After the interview, Mr Ahmed said:
"For far too long have we as a party sat back and allowed the Tories to do their thing, but enough is enough. My message to Mr Clegg is this, either put a leash on Cameron or walk out of this coalition whilst we still have an ounce of respect left as a party.
"The next election is going to be a very difficult time for the Liberal Democrats if we continue to sit back and allow the Tories to do what they want on issues that have meant so much to us until today. First tuition fees and now the EU, when will Clegg tell Cameron to stop?"
